The Rapture, 2nd Coming and the End of the World

Biblical prophecy claims the Rapture is coming April 23

This is the Headline from Fox News 3 days ago. David Meade, who calls himself a Christian numerologist, is in the Headlines again. He states that Bible prophecy is "highly suggestive" that this will be the day of the Rapture. He says that the sun and the moon would be in Virgo as well as Jupiter. He says that Jupiter represents the Messiah. He bases his statements on his interpretation of  Revelation 12: 1-2 “And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of 12 stars. She was pregnant and was crying out in birth pains and the agony of giving birth.” He says the woman in this passage is Virgo. Again, he is being made fun of for his statements in the News. So we will see what happens on April 23, 2018.

The question is: What is the Rapture?  Is it Biblical? The answer is yes. The Rapture is taught in the Word of God. Is the word, rapture, found there? The answer is no and yes. So what does that mean? The word, rapture, is an English translation of the Greek word, harpazo, found in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. So the Greek word translated 'caught up' is where we get the word, rapture. The Rapture of the Church is a time yet to come when Jesus comes back and 'catches up' or 'carries away' His Bride. He does not return to the Earth but in the clouds, as the angels told the disciples when He ascended. Acts 1: 9 After saying this, He was taken up into a cloud while they were watching, and they could no longer see Him. 10 As they strained to see Him rising into heaven, two white-robed men suddenly stood among them. 11 “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why are you standing here staring into heaven? Jesus has been taken from you into heaven, but someday He will return from heaven in the same way you saw Him go!”
So is this the Second Coming of Jesus? No. Jesus only returns in the clouds to gather together and carry away His Bride, the Church. The Word prophesies then of 7 years of great Tribulation on the Earth as God's wrath is 'poured out' in judgment. Then at the end of this time, Jesus will come back to set foot on the Earth with His saints, the Church. This is the second coming prophesied. Jude tells us in verse 14  And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of His saints... Jesus will establish His physical kingdom on Earth to reign for 1000 years. Then will there be an End of the World? All the News media like to make fun of people like David Meade and then all Christians who believe the Bible. They say we are 'foretelling the end of the World' or Doomsday. However, if they would only read and study the Word of God themselves, they would see that it doesn't 'foretell' the 'End' but just a new beginning. The remaining question then is: Are you ready when Jesus does come back to 'rapture' or 'catch away' His people, the Church? If you aren't ready or don't know then let someone tell you about the Good News. Jesus said in John 14: I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
